Archive of materials pertaining to Field guide to California agriculture, written by Starrs and Goin. Contains photographs
(ffALB, PIC box 1, F, I and FR) documenting various aspects of California agriculture, including produce, irrigation, industry,
labor, livestock, and scenic views. Photographic prints shelved in ffALB boxes 1-2, F, I and FR are large format, exhibition
quality prints, while the hundreds of photographic prints in PIC box 1 are smaller digital reference proofs, many sheets containing
multiple images. Also includes various documentation (PIC carton 1 and B box 1) pertaining to the publication: drafts of the
Field guide, general research material (government agriculture reports and other sources, periodical literature, California
atlases and ephemera) and material specific to a the authors' research at The Bancroft Library as it pertained to the publication
and a related exhibition (Colors of California agriculture). Also includes a signed, hardcover copy of Field Guide to California
agriculture (ALB box 1).
